Stick+Tine Szechuan sauce will be your new favorite for all things grilling. Its robust flavor pairs perfectly with the fruit in these delicious kabobs. In the oven or on the grill these go well with rice or mashed potatoes.
- 1 ½ lbs. chicken breast cut into cubes
- 1 cup Stick+Tine Szechuan sauce plus ½ cup for basting
- 1 cup cubed fresh pineapple
- 1 cup cubed red apple
- 1 cup sliced onion
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Place cubed chicken, pepper, and Stick+Tine Szechuan sauce in a large ziplock bag. Marinate for 1 hour or can be marinated overnight if desired.
Drain sauce off of chicken. Place chicken, pineapple, apple and onion on skewers, repeat layers until skewer is full. Cook on grill for 10-15 minutes basting with Stick+Tine Szechuan sauce when turning skewers. For oven: Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place skewers on foil lined baking pan. Cook for 30 minutes or until chicken is done. Turn and baste with Stick+Tine Szechuan sauce after 15 minutes of cooking.
